Job Description Social Organizer at SIF Pakistan
Secours Islamique France (SIF), an international humanitarian organization, is currently seeking a passionate and dynamic Social Organizer for its donor-funded Livelihood and Food Security Projects in Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Pakistan.
This role involves extensive community mobilization, capacity building, and fieldwork across multiple districts, including Mardan, Nowshera, Swabi, Buner, Malakand, Lower Dir, Upper Dir, Chitral, Haripur, and Mansehra.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute activity implementation plans aligned with project objectives.
- Mobilize and engage communities in livelihood initiatives.
- Form or reorganize Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) for both male and female participants.
- Conduct village mapping and profiling using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) tools (e.g., BBCMs, wealth ranking).
- Orient communities on the project’s goals, methodologies, and organizational values.
- Identify and prioritize local community needs collaboratively.
- Facilitate skill development trainings and business incubation for small enterprises.
- Build strong linkages with relevant stakeholders for sustainable livelihood development.
- Ensure effective execution of Food Security, Cash-Based Interventions, and Livelihood projects.
- Social Organizer Job and facilitate community awareness sessions and thematic training.
- Submit timely and accurate reports (daily, weekly, and monthly field reports).
- Actively participate in internal meetings and coordination efforts.

- Strong community mobilization and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in report writing and documentation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to travel frequently within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
- Commitment to humanitarian principles, gender inclusion, and SIF’s core values.
