The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), under the Revenue Division of the Government of Pakistan, is inviting applications for the position of Sub Inspector (equivalent to JCO, BPS-14) in multiple Collectorates of the Pakistan Customs Department. The appointments will be made on a contract basis for two years, with opportunities available across Quetta, Gaddani, and Indus field formations.

1. Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Quetta

  • Vacancies: 25
  • Quota: All districts of Balochistan
  • Distribution: Merit – 21, Women – 3, Minority – 1

2. Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Gaddani

  • Vacancies: 15
  • Quota: All districts of Balochistan
  • Distribution: Merit – 12, Women – 2, Minority – 1

3. Collectorate of Customs Indus

  • Vacancies: 108
  • Quota: All Pakistan (Open Merit, Punjab, Sindh, KP, Balochistan, GB, AJK, Ex-FATA)
  • Distribution: Punjab – 54, Sindh (R) – 12, Sindh (U) – 8, KP – 13, Balochistan – 7, Ex-FATA – 3, GB – 1, AJK – 2

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (2nd Class or Grade C) in any of the following from HEC-recognized institutions:
    • Economics
    • Commerce
    • Statistics
    • Accounting
    • Computer Science
    • Law
    • Pharmacy
    • Chemistry
    • Physics
    • B.Sc. Engineering

Physical Standards:

  • Male: Height 5’-6”, Chest 32”-33.5”
  • Female: Height 5’-2”

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 18 Years
  • Maximum: 30 Years (Including 5 years general age relaxation)

Special Categories & Age Relaxation:

  • Minorities & Women: Quotas are strictly observed.
  • Retired Armed Forces Personnel: Up to 15 years relaxation or actual service (whichever is less).
  • Widows/Sons/Daughters of deceased Govt. servants: 5 years age relaxation.
  • Tribal areas, AJK, GB, Sindh (R), and Balochistan: 3 years relaxation.

  • Screening Test & Physical Test (Height, Chest, Endurance)
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for further tests/interviews.
